Frequently Asked Questions

How long has TestMasters been offering LSAT preparation courses?

Since 1991 more than 100,000 students have enrolled in TestMasters LSAT preparation courses.

How often is the LSAT administered?

The LSAT is administered four times a year: February, June, September or October, and December.

How do I go about registering for a TestMasters LSAT Preparation Course?

The total cost to register for a TestMasters LSAT course is $1450, and students must pay the full balance of the tuition no later than one week prior to their first class meeting. Students can pay the full course tuition upon registering for a course or simply make a $100 deposit to save their seat. TestMasters accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards, money orders, and checks (Note: personal checks will only be accepted until 10 days prior to the first LSAT class meeting).

If I take the TestMasters LSAT course, am I able to ask an instructor for help if I have questions about the materials?

As students work through the LSAT preparation materials and LSAT PrepTests they can utilize in-class instruction, homework review sessions, and the Student Helpline to ask any questions they may have. Each four-hour LSAT class provides students with many opportunities to ask questions about the LSAT review material being taught, and includes a 30-minute homework review session prior to the start of the lesson. The TestMasters Student Helpline is available to students outside of regular class hours, and can be reached during the week from 1PM to 4PM ET or 10AM to 1PM PT.

Would it be a good idea to practice LSAT test-taking strategies before enrolling in an LSAT preparation course with TestMasters?

If you intend to take a TestMasters LSAT course, you should not do any LSAT review before the LSAT course begins. Taking or studying LSAT diagnostic tests before the TestMasters class begins will prematurely expose you to material that TestMasters uses in the course to expose students to the TestMasters methodology. We recommend that students wait until the LSAT preparation course begins to ensure that they do not encounter material already worked through.
